It was Atletico Madrid who started the game in style and created the chances. While Chelsea was slowly building their game up and it was Drogba who came back to the side after a four match ban who was looking very aggressive. But the first half ended goalless. In the second half Atletico introduced Aguero as substitute and on 66th minute he made his side take lead by producing a powerful strike for which Peter Cech didn't had any answers. But the brilliant Drogba pulled the game to Chelsea's side by finding the net twice on 82 and 87th minutes; the second one being a powerful display of his class and strength. But Aguero whom once the great Maradona called as the best player in the world , made the scores level by striking a beautiful free kick on 90th minute.
As Chelsea went into the knock out stages with this draw with Atletico Madrid and Drogba's return has ignited teams ambition for winning the Champions League under the new coach Ancelotti.
